From September 2026, Dr. Dawit Dibekulu takes on leadership of Bahir Dar University’s internal research projects portfolio.
Dr. Dawit Dibekulu has been appointed Director of Internal Research Projects at Bahir Dar University, effective 10 September 2026.
The role focuses on supporting and coordinating the university’s internally funded research, from calls for proposals and review to monitoring and dissemination. It builds on Dr. Dawit’s earlier coordination roles in research, community service and university–industry linkage at Mekdela Amba University, and on editorial leadership as Editor-in-Chief of the Ethiopian Journal of Language, Culture and Communication.
Strong research cultures are built project by project, by giving researchers clear processes, fair review and visibility for their work.
