Recent articles in Society, Human Ecology and a Springer journal explore archives, land proverbs and the life of Gə’əz.
2026 has brought three new Springer publications:
- Archival Violence and Poetic Reconstruction: Memory, Erasure, and the State in Lemn Sissay’s Work, Society 63(1).
- Proverbs of Belonging: Relational Ecologies in Yoruba, Hausa, and Akan Land Proverbs, Human Ecology 54(2).
- The Undying Echoes of Gə’əz: Debunking Claims of Linguistic Death.
Together they reflect a research programme that connects literature, memory, ecology and language heritage across the continent.
